A Lasting Community Impact

For more than seven decades, Friesen Group has believed that being a good community partner is just as important as delivering exceptional services. From its earliest days as a local corner pharmacy, the organization has remained deeply connected to the people and places it serves across Northern California and Nevada.

Our long‑term impact is rooted in action—supporting local nonprofits, schools, healthcare initiatives, and community events that improve quality of life. Through employee volunteerism, sponsorships, and hands‑on involvement, Friesen Group actively invests its time, resources, and expertise into causes that align with our values of service, integrity, and human connection.

As Friesen Group continues to grow, our commitment to community involvement remains constant. We are proud to support the organizations and initiatives that help our communities thrive—today and for generations to come.

Investing Where Passion Meets Impact

The Friesen Foundation is a private family foundation based in Redding, California, established to support bold, targeted projects that strengthen communities and inspire connection. Launched in 2019, the Foundation focuses on intentional giving—championing initiatives that reflect a passion for outdoor recreation, arts and culture, and community development.

Rather than following trends, the Friesen Foundation seeks out projects that create tangible, lasting impact. Support is extended by invitation to organizations whose work aligns with the Foundation’s vision and values, ensuring each partnership is purposeful, focused, and meaningful. This approach allows the Foundation to invest deeply in initiatives that promote access, opportunity, and quality of life across Northern California.

Through grants and partnerships, the Friesen Foundation has supported trail development and environmental restoration, community recreation and cultural programs, athletic scholarships, and projects that encourage people to connect—with each other and the places they call home. Guided by an independent advisory committee and Board of Directors, the Foundation remains committed to thoughtful stewardship and community‑driven impact.
